The Trolley Back and Forth unit operates your trolley or train in a back-and-forth operation on a point-to-point track with a stop at each end. It allows you to simulate trolley and push-pull passenger operation or it can be used for a test track or display layout.

 There are two independent timing cycles that can be precisely adjusted from 1 second to 9,999 seconds (approx. 2 3/4 hours).  The two timing cycles lets you have the trolley stay at one end longer than the other if desired. 

The system uses "diode stopping sections" at each end to stop the trolley/engine. An insulated gap on one rail at each end of the track is spanned by a diode (soldering required). This cuts power to the trolley until the board reverses polarity to the track, allowing the trolley to return in the opposite direction.
